Our Story

Cuba Renace was founded with one vision: when change comes to Cuba, it must be met with preparation, structure, and responsibility — not improvisation.

We are a civic initiative committed to advancing serious, forward-looking proposals for a stable and democratic transition. While many focus on protest, we focus on planning.

Our mission is to help leaders, experts, and members of the diaspora answer one essential question:

If the regime falls tomorrow, are we ready?

Our Approach

A successful transition must be:

  • Grounded in the sovereignty of the Cuban people

  • Limited and temporary in mandate

  • Institution-driven, not personality-driven

  • Transparent and accountable

  • Focused on rapid stabilization and free elections

Success post-regime must include:

  • Institutional continuity during transition

  • Economic stabilization and reconstruction planning

  • Humanitarian coordination

  • International reintegration

Why We Advocate for a Transition Council

Cuba cannot afford chaos.

When the regime ends, there must be an organized mechanism to stabilize the country and prepare for free elections.

For that reason, Cuba Renace advocates for the creation of a Unified Transition Council.

This would not be a permanent government. It would be a temporary Council tasked with:

  • Maintaining institutional continuity

  • Coordinating humanitarian response

  • Stabilizing economic systems

  • Preparing monitored elections

  • Ensuring a lawful and orderly transfer of power

Such a council must:

  • Derive authority from the democratic processes

  • Operate within a clearly defined mandate

  • Be subject to transparency and anti-corruption safeguards

  • Dissolve once an elected government is inaugurated

Transitions without structure invite chaos.
